DAC COVID 19 Stay at Home Connection Kits
The Disability Action Center has been working closely with the United Way of Marion and Taylor Counties and has secured emergency funding to provide Stay At Home “Connection Kits” to families wishing to follow along with our daily classes (supplies for group fitness, creative arts, gardening, bible study, book club etc.) and who are in need of food or emergency resources. The Salvation Army is also assisting with the Connection Kits through food essentials.
The DAC is looking at other funding sources to expand this program but at present we could serve 20-24 clients. Connection Kits are available to members of the DAC on a first come, first serve basis as quantities will be limited to start. Connection Kits will be available for safe pick up at the DAC or delivered to the door of the client. Connection Kits should be available for programming beginning April 20th through May.
Facebook Message or emailing jsole@disabilityactioncenter.com is the best way to request your kit and additional information will be gathered upon registration.
