DAC Summer Camp CAN-DO
July 21-25, 2025 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A full schedule of activities and registration will be available at the DAC in July and at disabilityactioncenter.com/events. Please call or come in the center to Pre-Register.
The Camp CAN-DO theme for 2025 is “DAC: Lights, Camera, Action and campers will be fully immersed in all things TV, Movie, Digital Creation, and Production for this star-studded week-long creative camp experience.
Cost will be $10.00 per day for DAC members and $20.00 per day for non-members.
Please call or come in the center to Pre-Register.
Special Events-July and August 2025
In July, we are focusing our efforts on Camp CAN-DO and in August, we encourage you to support the Homestead Farm Center BBQ Dinner Fundraiser on August 16th. Tickets will be available at the DAC and all proceeds will benefit Homestead Farm Center programs. Please support our partners!
Also in August we encourage everyone to attend our end of Summer picnic at Domico Swimming Pool on August 27th. More details will follow and covered dishes/snacks are welcomed!
DAC Special Events will resume October 2025 with our Trunk or Treat.

Full STEM Ahead and Creative Arts
A partnership of the DAC and Homestead Farm Center
The DAC and HFC are pleased continue the very successful Full STEM Ahead and Creative Arts classes that include:
- Make it Mondays: July: Summer Art Series August: Summer Art Series
- Tuesday STEAM: July: Go Green August: Wonders of the World
- Try This Thursday (TTT): July: Sports and Leisure (Team Building) August: Sports and Leisure (Personal Growth)
All Morning Enrichment program will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. and will be held in 1-month blocks. Please plan to attend the entire monthly session from the start. Check the calendar for full details and descriptions of classes.

DAC Expansion
Groundbreaking for the DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center took place on May 29th and we are so excited for work to continue this summer, making our dream of an inclusive recreation space a reality. Much work lies ahead of us as grant writing and fundraising efforts continue in order to fully complete the project.
