Friday Night Outs-September and October 2022
5-6 p.m.

The September 16th Friday Night Out will be sponsored by the Homestead Farm Center. We are excited to have the FNO as follow-up to the very successful Homestead BBQ in August. You will have the opportunity to enjoy BBQ and purchase the amazing crafts and products that were made by the RURAL program and DAC clients over the summer. Dine in or take out and RSVP required.

The October 28th Friday Night Out will be our Halloween Trunk or Treat. We are really excited to hold our first Trunk or Treat at the new DAC location. Parking and entrance will be available at the front of the building and at the radio station. Decorated trunks and activities will be on the back/lower level of the parking lot and this area will be blocked off for walking through.

Please let us know if you will be attending and/or decorating a trunk and giving out treats!

#Higherground Building Fund and DAC Expansion

#Higherground Expansion continues at DAC with projects including the outdoor classroom (in progress), DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center, and the elevator on the main DAC facility. Grant writing and fundraising is underway for the DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center and the properties across the street have been secured to start demolition, site prep, and then the construction of the one of a kind, accessible gym and wellness space. Grant writing is underway for the elevator project and construction will begin when funds are secured. Please help to spread the word about these projects and the need for funding to make these expansions and improvements possible.
