DAC Summer Camp CAN-DO
July 24-28, 2023 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Camp CAN-DO theme for 2023 is “DAC Survivor: Out Wit, Out Last, Out Play” a creative combination of survivor skills training, team building activities, and exercises to improve your mind, body, and spirit. An adventurous week of Camp CAN-DO will feature hiking, swimming, outdoor adventure and the Survivor Challenge at the Homestead Farm Center.
Cost will be $10.00 per day for DAC members and $20.00 per day for non-members.

Friday Night Outs-July and August 2023
We will not be holding Friday Night Outs in July and August to better support the larger events already scheduled during those months.
In July, we are focusing our efforts on Camp CAN-DO and in August, we encourage you to support the Homestead Farm Center BBQ Dinner Fundraiser on August 12th. Tickets will be available at the DAC and all proceeds will benefit Homestead Farm Center programs. Please support our partners!
Friday Night Outs will resume in-person in September 2023.
General Membership Board Meeting
July 24, 2023 4:00 p.m.
All Members are invited to attend our Semi-Annual General Membership Board Meeting on July 24th. Light meal will be provided at 4 p.m. with the meeting starting directly after. Your voice and participation are appreciated and we encourage you to attend.

Full STEM Ahead and Creative Arts
A partnership of the DAC and Homestead Farm Center
The DAC and HFC are pleased continue the very successful Full STEM Ahead and Creative Arts classes that include:
- Make it Mondays: July: Nature Art August: Summer Art Series
- Tuesday STEM: July: Astronomy/Solar August: Weather/Climate
- Try This Thursday (TTT): July: Sports Basics August: Mindfulness
All Morning Enrichment program will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. and will be held in 1-month blocks. Please plan to attend the entire monthly session from the start. Check the calendar for full details and descriptions of classes.
#Higherground Building Fund and
DAC Expansion
#Higherground Expansion continues at DAC with projects including the outdoor classroom (recently completed), DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center, and the vertical platform lift on the main DAC facility. Grant writing and fundraising is underway for the DAC-Wilfong Wellness Center and the properties across the street and the sites have been cleared for the construction of the one-of-a-kind, accessible gym and wellness space.
